Mrs. Nevada Heffner
Thurs., 9/23, 1971

Mrs. Nevada I. Heffner, 71, of Lenneyville, New Cumberland, RD2, widow of Robert Roy Heffner, died Wednesday at 2:40 p.m. at the Alliance City Hospital where she had been a patient for a week.
A Native of Hancock County, Mrs. Heffner was born Sept. 4, 1900, a daughter of Nathan Mercer and Idelea Wells Mercer. She spent all her life in Hancock County
She was a member of the Virginia Ave. Church of Christ in Chester and the Stepping Stones Organiatizon of the area Churches of Christ. Her husband died Dec. 11, 1969.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Julian (Helene) Wilson of Lenneyville; five sons, Robert R. Heffner and Ralph E. Heffner, both of East Liverpool, Frank E. Heffner at home, Ronald L. Heffner of Ft. Knox, Ky., and Lewis L. Heffner of Garden Grove, Calif.; threebrothers, Alvin Mercer of Richmond, Ind., Harlen Mercer of Barnesville, Ohio and Clarence Mercer of Spokane, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Mercer Haught of Newell; 27 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. a the Chester Chapel of the Arner Home for Funerals by Evangelist Frank Higginbotham. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.
Friends may call at the chapel Friday afternoon and night.
