Funeral services were held Thursday fro Daniel Harrison Beaver, former East Liverpool potter who died of a heart attack Aug. 4 at his home in Zephyrhills, Fla., after an illness of five years. He was 69.
A native of Racine, he was employed at the Edwin M. Knowles China Co. as a kilnplacer for 30 years before retiring and moving to Florida in 1945. He resided in East Liverpool about 55 years, last living in Pleasant Heights.
He was a member of the IBOP and the Seventh-Day Adventist church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edna Beaver of Zephyrhills; a daughter, Mrs Lorenso Kemp of Tampa; four sons, William Beaver of St. Petersburg, Daniel H. Beaver of East Liverpool, Kenneth Beaver of Tampa and Ronald Beaver of Louisville, Ohio, and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. at the Lairs Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, with burial in Oakville Cemetery there.
