Philip Susie’s Rites To Be Held Saturday

Philip Susie, 1229 Midland Ave., a pioneer resident who came to Midland in 1906, died Tuesday afternoon at 3:39 at the Rochester General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 83.
He was a retired businessman and had operated a bar and restaurant at 4th ST. and Midland Ave. for 18 years. Mr. Susie was born May 2, 1875, in Italy and was a member of the Presentation Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Alfred Susie of Baytown, Tex., Anthony Susie of Pekin, Ill, and Albert Susie at home; three daughters, Mrs. Anne Gasbarine and Mrs. Emma Aloi of Midland and Miss Elsie Susie at home, and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church with a solem Hig Requiem Mass. Burial will be in Beaver Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Schwerha Funeral Home after 7 tonight.
