LISBON—Norman A. Lutton, 78, of 315 Caldwell Ave., died at 6:30 a.m. today in Salem Central Clinic, where he had been a patient three weeks..
He was born Jan. 1, 1888 in East Palesting, a son of Harry R. and Elizabeth Patterson Lutton, and lived in the Lisbon area since 1922.
Mr. Lutton was a member of the Rogers Christian Church. He was employed at the American Vitrified Products Co. plant on the Lisbon – Elkton Rd. before retiring in 1953.
His wife, Harriet, died Jan. 21, 1965. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Swartz of Lisbon and Mrs. Madalyne Pratt of Medford, Ore.; a brother, Russell C. Lutton of Lisbon; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Eells-Leggett Funeral Home, with Minister Glenn Logston of the North Beaver ST. Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Carmel Cemetery, near Rogers.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
