Bobbie Lyndon Rex Wildman, 85, of ridge Ave., New Cumberland passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born March 7,1922 in Alma, WV, son of the late Henry and Libby Spencer Wildman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Edward Wildman and a sister, Carletta Wildman Loudin.
He was retired from the Weirton Steel Corp. Fuel Department where he worked as a fuel man. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. He was vice president of the Catholic Men’s Club, a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion, a life long music man and played with numerous bands. He was an avid outdoorsman and hobbist. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was Jewish by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mack Wildman, at home, five children, William D. (Linda) Wildman of Berea, KY, Phillip E. (Shelley) Wildman of New Port, VA, Deborah L. Wildman Mirabile of Duellon, FL, Deborah J. Peterson of New Cumberland and Michael E. (Kathy) Peterson of Warren, OH.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home with Fr. Ronald Getsinger officiating. Interment followed at the New Cumberland Cemetery,.
