ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP – Brace E. Weddle Curran McHenry, 72, of N. Michigan Blvd. Salem, died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident at the intersection of state Routes 7 and 30 in St. Clair Township.
Born in Pomeroy, Ohio, Sept, 25, 1930, a daughter of the late Dan and Audrey Cochrane Weddle, she was a resident of East Liverpool before moving to Salem in 1978.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Betty) Blystone of E. Liverpool, Mrs. “Pastor Joe” (Judy) Sellers of Southport, Fla., and Mrs. James (Georgeanne) Vaughn, also of East Liverpool; and her two sons, David Curran and his wife Deb of Wintersville and Patrick Curran II and his fiancé Deb Lewis of Salem.
Also surviving are her 22 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and four step-great-grandchildren. The following former daughters-in-law survive her; Noreen Curran, Cindy Curran and Connie Curran, all of East Liverpool; as well as a former s0n-in-law, Claude McFadden.
Preceding her in deat is her first husband, Patrick Curran sr., who died in 1971, and her second husband, George McHenry, who died in 1989, as well as a daugher, Mia Blystone in 1996; a son, Michael Curran in 1998; a grandson, Robert “Ace” Blystone in 1998; tow sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call Monday at the Dawson Funeral Hoe, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Pastor Jeff Smith of the Open Door Fellowship on St. Clair Avenue, will conduct services at 11 a.m. Thurdsay at the funeral home. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center following the service
