RAVENSWOOD – Mrs. Fred Hendershot Bosworth, 83, Route 1, Ravesnswood, died Saturday morning in Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, after an extended illness.
She was born at Hemlock, Jackson County, a daughter of the late Brown and Henrietta Yost Hendershot. She was a member of the Untied Brethren Church and Ravenswood senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Stackpole of New Martinsville and Mrs. Lucille Steed of Chillicothe, Ohio; and two sons, Ralph of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Charles of Route 1 Ripley; 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde in 1961, and by a son, Ted.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home. The Rev. Lorris Pullins will officiate, with burial in the Morgan Cemetery at Hemlock.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
