Charles Wesley Keeper, 59, of North Benton, Ohio, a former resident of East Liverpool and Chester, died Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Alliance City Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 2, 1907, in Denver, Colo., a son of the late George W. Keeper and Lulu Smith Keeper. He was a farm hand at North Benton. He left this area about 15 years ago.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lester (Lois) Shaw of Chester, Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Walton of East Liverpool and Mrs. Paul (?) Geer of New Cumberland; three brothers, Lawrence Keeper of East Liverpool and George Keeper Jr. of Chester and Robert Keeper of New Cumberland R.D., nephews and nieces.
Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Chester Arner Funeral Chapel by the Rev. C. Donald Vogel of the Chester First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester.
Friends may call at the chapel Friday afternoon and night.
