Frank Peters Dies Thursday, Walker
Frank Peters, aged 76, of Walker, Route 2 died yesterday morning at his home.
Mr. Peters, born in Putnam county, came to the Walker community as a young man and has since then lived in Wood county, a farmer by occupation. He was a member of the Methodist church, lately attending the Pilgrim Holiness church in South Parkersburg.
He is survived by his wife Mary; six daughters, Mrs. Katie Newhouse of Walker, Mrs. Bessie McNemarof Junior, W. Va., Mrs. Beulah Young of Bellsville, Mrs. Elizabeth Bowen of Laurelsville, Ohio, Mrs. Margaret Holton and Mrs. Alice Snyder, both of Walker, route 3; two sons, Oscar of Lesage, W Va., and John of South Bloomfield, Ohio; four brothers, John of Ironton, O., Ezra of Monty Victory, O., Walter of Waverly and Charles of Columbus, O.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ezra Pickens of Columbus and Mrs. Rachel Barnett of East Liverpool, O.
The body was removed to the Leavitt funeral home. Funeral services will be held from Kanawha chapel, the time to be announced later. Interment will be in Morgan cemetery, near Muddy Creek school.
