Henry T.Miles, 54, Lisbon; was drowning victim
LISBON – Henry T. Miles, 54, of 9182 Trinity Church Road, was pronounced dead Tuesday evening at 10640 Laughlin Mill Road in Hanover Township, of an apparent drowing.
He was born April 7, 1933 in Rochester, Pa., the son of Noble F. and Janie Thomas Miles. He had resided in the Lisbon area for the past year and prior to that, he resided in the Darlington and Rochester, Pa., areas.
For the past year, he was employed at the Blum Coal company of Lisbon.
He attended the Second Baptist Church of Rochester, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Luck; a brother, Franklin “Lindy” Miles of Coraopolis, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Deloris Foster of Cleveland, Mrs. Janet Lockhart of New Brighton, Pa., and Ms. O’Neal Grimage of Milwaukee, Wis.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine. Burial will be in New Waterford Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
