NEW CUMBERALND -- Funeral services for William Henry Bailey, who was killed when rundown by a train here Friday morning, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Esther Webster.
Rev. Jacob Steinstraw of the Methodist Episcopal church will officiate and burial will follow in New Cumberland cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was born in New Cumberland Dec. 22, 1874 and lived here all his life. He was the son of Joseph Bailey and Elizabeth Wolf Bailey.
Before his retirement he was mine foreman for the Blackhorse Brick yards. He was a member of the Christian church of New Cumberland. Mr. Bailey married Minnie Jarvens in Freedom, Pa., Feb. 22, 1896.
Le leaves three sons, George Bailey, Charles Bailey and Harry Bailey, and two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Miller and Mrs. Webster, all of New Cumberland; seven brothers, Ray Bailey, Charles Bailey and Benjamin Bailey of New Cumberland and John Bailey, Joseph Bailey, James Bailey and Thomas Bailey of Coshocton, O.; six sisters, Mrs. Carrie Maple and Mrs. Ada Holsinger of Coshocton, Miss Lucy Bailey of New Cumberland, Mrs. Maude Mae Snowden and Mrs. Sadie Lyons of Ravenna, O., and two half-sisters, Mrs. Mollie Pugh and Mrs. Nannie Allen of East Liverpool.
