Born near Pennsboro May 9, 1865, he was the son of the late John Marshall Wilson. After graduating from the former Glenville Normal school about 55 years ago, he completed the law course in West Virginia university and was admitted to the bar. His brother, Mayor Ben Wilson, of Pennsboro, is the last surviving member of a family of twelve children. Mrs. Allie Barr (Broadwater) Wilson, his wife, died several years ago. Step children are Frank Broadwater and Fred Broadwater of Parkersburg, and Miss Ramona Broadwater, of Toll Gate.
