Lloyd H. Morgan Sr., 91, of Parkersburg, formerly of 3618 Plum St., died Thursday evening at the Arlington Health Care Facilities on Gihon Road.
He was born in Alta Vista, Kan., a son of the late Josiah Sprigg and Eliza Jane Gooch Morgan. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with the Beech Bottom Power Co. in Power. Brook County. He was an Army veteran of World War I, and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 1, in Wheeling.
He is survived by his wife, Blanche Alberta May Morgan; three sons, Joseph W. of Fleming, Ohio, Lloyd Jr. of Parkersburg, and Clyde R. Johnson of Huntington; a daughter, Dorothy M. Snedeker of Bellaire, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Vaughan Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Wescott will officiate.
Additional services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday a the Halcyon Hills Cemetery Chapel at Sherrard, Marshall County with burial following.
Friends may call at the Vaughan Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and until time of the services on Sunday.
