WELLSVILLE -- Carmen Zungali, 80, of Center Street, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at City Hospital after suddenly taking ill.
He was born in Patton, Pa., Dec. 20, 1923, a son of the late Michael and Catherine Rogers Zungali.
He worked as a molder and brancher at the Patton Clay Manufacturing Co. He served with the U. s. Army during World War II and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
He is survived by a son, Richard Zungali of Blasdell, N. Y.; a sister, Emma Brinzo of Patton; a brother, Philip “Willie” Zungali of Patton and two grandchildren.
The Rev. Bernard Gaeta will be celebrant of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Patton, where a graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Stevens Funeral Home in, 1004 Fifth Ave., Patton.
