Fay L. Delaney
Died April 6, 2004

EAST LIVERPOOL – Mrs. Fay L. Delaney, 78, of Williams Avenue, died at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Tuesday, April 6, 2004, where she was taken after becoming suddenly ill.
The daughter of the late Ross and Ollie (Meehan) Carnes, Mrs. Delaney was born in Lisbon Jan. 27, 1926, and reside in this area her entire life. She was a graduate of the Lisbon High School, Class of 1943, and enjoyed spending time working her crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Norman C. Delaney, whom she married on Jan. 31, 1957.
Mr. Delaney is also survived by her children, David A. Delaney and his wife Mary of Blue Rock, Ohio, Debra J. Stoddard of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Norma S. Dukelow and her husband Bret J. of Chesapeake, Va. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Brandy Harman of Greenville, N. C., Kelly Stoddard of Winston-Salem, N.C., David A. Delaney II of Youngstown, Christa Delaney of East Liverpool, David A. Barckhoff of Conneaut, Pa. And Dana M. Barckhoff of Blue Rock, Ohio.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Delaney is preceded in death by four brothers.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes at 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2004, with Rev. Charles Parry officiating.
Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 8, 2004.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
