Clarence E. Ferrell, 65, of New Cumberland passed away Sunday, June 15, 2003.
He was born September 20, 1935 at Middlebourne, WV, a son of the late Benjamen and Ovene LeMasters Ferrell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Bassett Ferrell.
He was a retired machinist who had worked at Weirton Steel. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club and the Weirton Heights Church of Christ. He was a regular patron of the State Line Restaurant.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Ferrell and his wife, Debbie of New Cumberland and Tim Ferrell, all of New Cumberland; a sister, JoClare Eastham of New Cumberland; a half brother and half sister, Chuck Ferrell and Pheobee Derryberry, both of Smithfield, PA and two grandsons, Ryan Ferrell of Oklahoma City and Nathan Ferrell of New Cumberland.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the New Cumberland Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Greathouse officiating. Interment followed at the Lamp Cemetery in Reeder, WV.
