EAST LIVERPOOL – Carol Helenthal, 58, of Orchard Grove Avenue, died at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at Altman Hospital in Canton, where she had been a patient for eight days.
Born in East Liverpool, March 16, 1945, daughter of the late Sylvester D. And Grace Moore Mays, she was a lifelong resident of the area.
She worked at AAA Travel Agency as a travel counselor for nearly 40 years.
Her husband, Gary D. Helenthal, whom she married Dec. 30, 1972, survives at home.
A sister, Mrs. Grace Eileen Kennedy of Carmel, Ind., and two brothers, Dale D. Mays of Wellsville and Glenn E. Mays of East Liverpool, survive.
Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Elder Betsy Chetwynd of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park
Immediately following burial family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
