Merle McMaster
Died April 24, 2004
TORONTO – Merle R. McMaster, 76, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Trinity Medical-West.
He was born Jan. 7, 1928, in Philo, Ohio, a son of the late Ernest and Lula Hood McMaster.
He retired as a diesel mechanic from Weir Cove Moving and Storage. He served with the U> S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Bonita McMaster, at home; three daughters, Judy Schmidt of Wintersville, Kathy ‘ross of Amsterdam, Ohio, and Jeanie Austin of Livingston, Tenn.; two sons, Carl McMaster of Millersburg, Ohio, and Morris “Tex” McMaster of Hilham, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Son Morris McMaster will conduct services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Clarke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, where the Toronto American Legion will accord graveside honors.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 tonight and from 11 am. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
