WELLVILLE – Robert C. Oswalt, 83, of Wellsville, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Alliance, June 10, 1920, a son of the late O.C. and Louva Roath Oswalt.
He owned and operated the former Oswalt Auto Body and Motor Sales in Salineville and served with the U. S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Roush Oswalt; two sons, John M. Oswalt at home and Robert D. Oswalt of Cleveland ; one brother, Bruce Oswalt of Clearwater, Fla.; and two sisters, Barbara Jones of Venice, Fla., and Marilyn Donahue of California.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial in Spring Hill Cemetery.
The Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in Wellsville in charge.
