Rosella Thompson Ash

CHESTER – Rosella Thompson Ash, 95, of Fox Lane, departed this life to meet her maker and savior on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003. She had lived at the Fox Nursing Home for eight years.
She was born July 22, 1908, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late William P. and Emma Prince Thompson.
Mrs. Ash was a member of the Chester Church of the Nazarene, graduated from the former Wells High School in Newell and retired in 1968 from the East Liverpool JC Penny Store, where she was a sales clerk.
She leaves behind four children, Patricia Ann Larkin of Chester, Leslie Carter Ash of East Liverpool, David Robert Ash of Chester and Jerry Kay Ash of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Ash; three sisters, Margie Thompson Klinger, Juanita Thompson Fallon and Ethel Mountford; and a brother, Roy Thompson.
The Rev. Roy Henck will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Jim Martin will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may visit this evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
