CHESTER – Margaret A. Connelly, 83, of West Ninth Street, East Liverpool, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2203, at the Fox Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.
Born in East Liverpool Aug. 6, 1919, daughter of the late John F. and Beatrice McClurg Connelly, she was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
A lifelong resident of the area, she retired from the payroll office of Homer Laughlin China Co. in 1987 after working more than 40 years.
A sister, Mrs. Daun (Mary) Gitschier of East Liverpool and a nephew, Kurt Gitschier of Canton, survive.
A sister, Wilma Connelly, and three Brothers, Willard J., Jack and Francis Connelly, Preceded her in death.
Calling hours will be at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church 10 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center following the services at the Cemetery.
