Richard “Dick” Taylor

EAST LIVERPOOL - Services will be held today for Richard “Dick” Taylor, 76, of state Route 170 who died at 2 p.m. Friday, June 11, 1999, at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.
He was born in East Liverpool June 13, 1922, a son of the late Clyde Herbert and Mildred Kinsey Taylor.
He retired in 1982 form the former Crucible Steel Co. after 44 years of employment. He was a member of the Middleton Senior Citizens Group and was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Prince Taylor, whom he married Nov. 3, 1952; a son, George P. Nickell of Hanoverton; a sister, Mrs. Lester (Elaine) Hickman of East Liverpool; a brother, C. Robert Taylor of Lake Charles, La.; five frangchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother Dr. David Taylor.
The Rev. Dr. Lester Hickman and Rev. Larry Rose will conduct services at 10:30 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
