Arthur W. Meek Dies In Sebring Of Illness

EAST ALESTINE, Aug. 7 (Special)—Arthur W. Meek, a former local potter, died early Sunday at his home in Sebring after an illness of several years. He was 47.
Born here Nov. 21, 1902, he worked at the W. S. George Co. pottery until going to Sebring nine years ago as a liner for the French-Saxon China Co. Illness forced his retirement in 1946.
He was a member of the Methodist Church, National Brotherhood of Operative Potters and the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lucille Meek; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Kunkewics, and a son, Robert Meek, of Sebring; a sister, Miss Doris Meek of East Palestine, and a granddaughter.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Moosman-Vogt Funeral Home by Rev. S. S. Burnett. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery here.
Friends may call tonight a the funeral home at Sebring.
