William M. Rodgers, 68, of 953 Lisbon St. died Sunday at 6:45 p.m. in city Hospital, where he was admitted Saturday.
Mr. Rodgers was taken to the hospital after he fell down a flight of steps. County Coroner Ernest Sturgis ruled that death was not caused by injuries suffered in the fall.
He was born in Scotland and had resided in East Liverpool for 14 years. A baker, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Rodgers leaves two sons, James Rodgers and William Rodgers, both of East Liverpool; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Coconis of East Liverpool, Mrs. Jane Stanley of Cincinnati and Mrs. Mary Miller of Salinas, Wash., and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Theis of East Liverpool and Mrs. Susan Ferris of Amelia.
Rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. M. Rudolph Miller, pastor of the First Prespyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
