EAST LIVERPOOL – Services are planned this afternoon for Mrs. Evelyn L. Fletcher, 70, of Carter Street, who died at 8:47 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 1993, at home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Highland Park, Mich., Feb. 21, 1923, a daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth Brockett.
Mrs. Fletcher lived here about 30 years. She attended the First United Methodist Church, ansd was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 66.
She is survived by her husband, Dean R. Fletcher, whom she married May 8, 1943; five sons, Robert D. Fletcher of Columbiana, Charles “Larry” Fletcher of Tampa, Fla., James C. Fletcher on New Waterford, Mike R. Fletcher of East Liverpool and Dennis O. Fletcher of Hammondsville; three sisters, Mrs. Francis (Betty) Klein of St. Joe, Ind., Margaret Collier of Paw Paw, Mich., and Mrs. Joe (Marilyn) Renda of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; three brothers, Robert Brockett of Carmi, Ill., Richard Brockett of East Point, Mich., and Thomas Brockett of Roseville,Mich.; nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Buckley of the church is to conduct the services at 1:30 at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens
