Ex-Porcelain Maker Taken
Funeral Is Pending For William S. Brunt
William S. Brunt, 80, a former East Liverpool industrialist, died Thursday in the Dewitt State Hospital in Auburn, Calif., following a long illness.
A son of the late William Brunt and Adeline Hill Brunt, he was born in East Liverpool. He operated a porcelain doorknob plant at the foot of Market St. for many years and later went to Columbus where he and associates manufactured porcelain in a plant at Chaseland, then a Columbus suburb. He had been in California for 20 years.
His only survivor is a nephew, William E. Louthan of East Liverpool.
The body will be brought here for burial but funeral services are incomplete.
