Requim High Mass was said this morning at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Rochester for Robert Caputo widely-known musician, band orchestra leader.
Mr. Caputo, 40, of Blaine Rd., Monaca, died suddenly Friday night of a heart attack while visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Caputo of Rochester.
His band played frequently at the local Elks Club and VFW Home.
A Navy Veteran, he was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church of Monaca and was employed by the Rochester Transit Co.
Beside his parents he leaves his widow, two daughters and a son, all at home. Burial was at St. Cecilia Cemetery.
