George “Scotty” Stewart, 72, night watchman at the Stevenson Foundry Co. for 24 years, died at 12:10 a.m. today at his home, 213 Aten Ave., Wellsville, after a three-month illness of complications.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. May Stewart, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Burns of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Services will be held at the Hugh Funeral Home Wednesday at 1 pm. by Rev. Charles A. Smith of the United Presbyterian Church
Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday night.
