WEIRTON – Thomas Foster Lowery, 57, of RD1, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Weirton Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 30, 1947, in Steubenville, a son of the late Robert Calvin Lowery Sr. and Evelyn Christine Grimes Schulte.
He retired from Wheeling Steel Corp. as a stove tender. He served with the U.S. Army and was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Gail Wilson Lowery, at home; ason Thomas Ryan Lowery of Weirton; two daughters, Peggy Denise Lowery and Elizabeth Dawn Lowery of Weirton; two brothers, John Calhoun of New Martinsville, W.Va., and Floyd F. Schulte Jr. of New Cumberland; and two grandchildren.
The Rev. Gaylord Cox will conduct services at 2 p.m. Friday at Shadow Lawn Memorial Gardens in Newell. Military graveside services will follow.
Visitation is from noon until the time of services Friday.
The Turley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
