EAST LIVERPOOL – Mary Lou Curran, 64, of the Marshall Apartments died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 1995, at the Beaver Valley Nursing Center in Beaver Falls following a two-month illness.
She was born in East Liverpool Dec. 9, 1930, a daughter of the late John F. Bryer and Olive E. Scott Bryer Hill.
A lifelong resident of East Liverpool, she was the executive secretary 17 years for the Columbiana County Port Authority before retiring. Earlier, she was a buyer 20 years for the D.M. Ogilvie Co. She was a member of East Liverpool High School Class of 1948 and was an active member of its reunion committee. She was a Presbyterian. She was the charter president to the East Liverpool Womens Bowling Association and was a past president of the East Liverpool Business and Professional Womens Club and the East Liverpool Federated Womens Club.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) George of East Liverpool; a niece and nephew, and a great-niece and a great-nephew.
The Rev. Mark Anderson of the Long’s Run Presbyterian Church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the ELHS Alumni Association in care of P. O. Box 986, East Liverpool, Ohio 43920.
